LetterBoxes in SC?

From: Ward, Charles D (WardCD@state.gov) | Date: 2004-09-02 14:41:50 UTC-04:00
Hello,
New to the group, and was wondering if there are any letter boxes set up in
South Carolina?

Letterboxes are not allowed in National Parks. However, there are word of
mouth clues to boxes in National Parks. You will probably NEVER see these
on
the list. You have to simply know someone. These boxes also should NEVER
be
talked about on the list, since I'm sure there are government spies
everywhere!

Hi Charles.

Depends where in SC you are, but there are definitely boxes planted there:
http://www.letterboxing.org/BoxStateRegion.asp?state=sc

There's also a Letterbox SE group you may be interested in checking out:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/letterbox-southeast/

Welcome.

Yep! Most of them seem to be along I-95 or in Florence, though. Where are
you in SC? I'm in Dillon and I'm planning on planting a few boxes ASAP in
the Dillon area or Florence or Myrtle Beach.

Letterboxing isn't too big here but with time and work it can be.

Aye... There's not too many boxes down there. Maybe you should plant
some. =)

Or take up ghost hunting. You're in a good area for that... Lucky guy!
